1-b
2-b
3-a
4-c
5-d thanks @Morgan! The domain = all x values… so in a coordinate pair above (x,y) the domain = {0,3,5,8}
the range would be = all y values.
The definition of a function is that a function is a correspondence between a first set, called domain (x values), and a second set, called interval (y values), such that each member of the domain corresponds exactly to a member of range. So basically if a number is seen more than once in the domain… it’s not a function.
b would be correct for the first question
b would be correct for the second question. thanks Morgan 100% :3 moderator banned me from brain for a day so now im here for help on hw. 5.6.8 – Quick Check: formalization of relationships and functions

In #2 you are right. I don’t know why people see the answers to the questions and are like I want a thumbs up. Let me repost these answers. Why do people do this? It’s just harder to find the real answers. Can people just stop doing this? Thank you Morgana! Got 100% Answers are still correct 10/11/20 🙂 Thanks to your mum @ Morgan’s answers are still correct to this day Desperadoux Is correct! Morgan is still right 10/09/2022.
