via Twitter chirp Mr. John Collison, co-founder of Stripe, said that Dublin-based financial services firm Stripe now supports cryptocurrency businesses such as wallets, cryptocurrency markets and NFT tokens.
Stripe has already entered into several partnerships with well-known names in the crypto arena such as:
Cryptocurrency exchange FTX run by billionaire Sam Bankman Fred, crypto-focused financial services firm Blockchain.com, and online digital arts auction platform Nifty Gateway.
Stripe also provides digital identity and know-your-customer (KYC) solutions to businesses to make it easier to exclude and combat fraudsters and follow compliance rules.
The company also offers crypto companies to donate some of their revenue in order to offset the carbon dioxide emissions associated with Bitcoin and Ethereum by supporting decarbonization technologies.

Meltem Demirors, chief strategist at CoinShares, tweeted that Stripe has given crypto companies access to financial infrastructure which is a massive upgrade for the entire ecosystem.
Originally, Stripe added support for bitcoin payments in 2015.
But it pulled the plug and discontinued support in early 2018.
Last November, Collison did not rule out repayments in cryptocurrencies, while keeping an eye on the latest developments in the field.
Stripe has announced that it is forming a cryptocurrency team that will focus on Web 3.0 payments in October.
The financial services company Stripe was founded in 2009 by the Collison brothers, and Stripe is responsible for processing payments for tech giants such as Amazon and Google.
The “Fast Company” recently chose “Stripe” as the most innovative company in the world, which could motivate it more to move forward in the cryptocurrency and blockchain arena.
