The number is now 88.49% lower than the sales of non-fungible tokens recorded eight months ago.

May was the last month that NFT sales printed the $1 billion mark with $3.18 billion recorded in May 2022.

The following month saw a significant drop to $879 million and in July sales of non-fungible tokens saw $682 million.

Sales fell in August after posting $633 million in NFT sales that month, and September fell 13.27%.

So far, the first week of October saw $105.22 million in NFT sales with 191,175 NFT tokens sold.

30-day metrics indicate that the best-selling NFT group was Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) with group sales of $30,964,305 last month.

However, this is 37.49% lower than BAYC’s sales recorded in the previous month.

Statistics compiled by cryptoslam.io show that the QQL Mint Pass project generated $27.80 million in sales this month and Cryptopunks earned $23.49 million.

The Ethereum blockchain is the most present in terms of embracing the best-selling NFT, followed by Solana and Flow.
