Bitcoin recorded another slight increase in the past 24 hours and jumped to a 10-day high at around $42,500.
Meanwhile, most altcoins are turning a little green again, with Shiba Inu and Terra topping the top 20 by total market cap with gains of 5-8%.
Bitcoin hits new 10-day high:
After the massive volatility of Bitcoin in the middle of last week, rising by $3,000 in minutes, then rebounding with the same speed and force.
This time the largest cryptocurrency managed to stay above the required $40,000 level for several days before making another impressive move late Friday as it surged above $41,000.
Soon after, Bitcoin managed to climb above the $42,000 level.

But he was not able to maintain this level for long and the price of the currency fell again soon after.
The bulls continued to put pressure, pushing the base cryptocurrency to around $42,500, bringing that number to the highest price Bitcoin has reached since March 9.
As of press time, Bitcoin has lost some momentum and is currently standing between $41,800 to $42,000.
As such, Bitcoin’s market cap is close to $800 billion, but it’s still shy of getting past it.
Terra coins and Shiba Inu lead the largest altcoins:
Altcoins performed well yesterday, and most of them were also green today.
Ethereum remained above $2900 despite it failing to top $3000 hours ago.
The Binance coin touched $400 but has since fallen below that level.
Ripple, Solana, Cardano, Avalanche, Polkadot, and Dogecoin also made some gains.
But Terra and Shiba Inu stole the spotlight from altcoins with a larger market cap.
LUNA rose more than 7% and settled at $95, while SHIB rose nearly 8% to $0.000024.
Among the low- and medium-end altcoins, Ethereum Classic stood out with a whopping 21% increase.

ETC is now trading above $35.
Next is Loopring, with an increase of 19%, and NEO with an 11% increase.
The market capitalization of cryptocurrencies has remained relatively stable in the 24-hour range at $1.9 trillion and is gradually and slowly approaching around $2 trillion.
